Hi, I’m Isaac White
I’m an 19-year-old photographer based in Cedar Rapids, and I discovered my passion for photography during my sophomore year at Kennedy High School. It all started when a friend convinced me to join the school’s journalism class. One football game, a camera in hand, and I was hooked. Through the Kennedy Torch, I learned the excitement of capturing moments on and off the field. Since then, my passion for photography has only grown.
Early in my journey, I experienced just how powerful photographs can be. A family friend’s mother was terminally ill, and the family needed photos of everyone together before it was too late. I was the only person they could find with a camera on short notice, and we were able to do the photoshoot. A week later, the mother passed, and those photos were shared at her funeral. I watched as family members looked at those images with both love and grief in their eyes, and I realized then the deep impact photography can have on people’s lives. That moment solidified my decision to become a photographer.
While I started with sports photography, I’m now expanding into other areas like theater, senior portraits, family and couples sessions, and event photography. I’m constantly honing my skills and exploring new techniques in shooting and editing.
I’d love to help capture your special moments, whether it’s a high-energy game, a meaningful performance, or a family gathering. Let’s create something unforgettable together. Book your session today!
